Structural Material Manager Version 15.0 Upgrade
Built-in PDF Output: Structural Material Manager Version 15.0 features PDF output. This lets it send reports to PDF just as easily as it always has been able to send them to a printer, the screen or a text file. Simply select PDF as your output destination, and the system will prompt you for the PDF's folder location and filename just before it produces the report.
Of course PDF output makes it easy to send information to colleagues via e-mail attachments. A Nested Report might be e-mailed to a supplier for material quoting purposes, or a Shipping Ticket could be e-mailed to an erector to inform them as to what structural assemblies they can expect to arrive. The possibilities - all of them paperless - are numerous.
It is important to note that you do not need any additional PDF software to make this new feature work. Since the system has a built-in PDF printing engine, there is no need to purchase Adobe Acrobat or any other PDF-writing utilities.
