Deleting a Shipping Ticket
When creating Shipping Tickets with Structural Material Manager, you might not initially do so with the job site as the destination. Rather, the concept of midpoint-shipping (a.k.a. interim ship-points) may come into play because items first need shipped for outsourced processing. For instance, a load might go to the galvanizer, and you'd create a Shipping Ticket for that purpose. Later, after those materials are received back say for quality control, final fit-up and assembly, or simply load optimization, you will want to delete the original Shipping Ticket (assuming it had been saved in the job's Production-Control History). The reason the original ticket needs deleted is that only after that has been done will the items be released from the Production-Control history so that they are once again available for shipment. With the original ticket deleted, the items can then be added to a new one for final shipment to the job site.
